Maria Arinbjarnar



Maria is a Ph.D. Student in Computer Science at York University, planned graduation is in 2010. Supervisor Dr. Daniel Kudenko, research area Interactive Drama.

Current Research

Maria's aim is to create believable Non-Player Characters (NPCs) that entertain the player with respect to the game scenario. NPCs that have distinctive personality and character and are able to engage the player in a conversation about in-game events and captivate the player in an unfolding drama.
